In general, care needs to be applied when installing the MySpot 200 in open areas that are subject to routine heavy snow falls, and where mechanical snow plowing is used.  If the parking spot is occupied while it snows, MySpot 200 will be protected and kept snow-free. If the spot is not occupied, the barrier is likely to have been set to the "block" position (vertical). The height of the barrier will alert snow plowing equipment to the MySpot 200 and will prevent damage to the unit.
